Clock Tower, Hong Kong


The Clock Tower, also known as Tsim Sha Tsui Clock Tower (尖沙咀鐘樓) is a historic landmark building in Hong Kong. It was completed in 1915 together with the former Kowloon Railway Station, however the station was demolished in 1977, even though the people were petitioning against it. As a kind of a compensation, the tower was kept. It's really a sad story, but at least we have something left today, a wonderful clock tower (source). These are some of my photos:

The tower is 44m tall, the lighting rod is 7 meters.

This area is full of museums, nearby is the famous Avenue of Stars.
