Avenue of Stars, Hong Kong

A statue of Bruce Lee, behind the famous Hong Kong skyline

The Avenue of Stars (星光大道), located at the southernmost tip of Kowloon (near Tsim Sha Tsui Station) is something like the Chinese version of Hollywood's Walk of Fame. If we're precise, we should say Hong Kong's version, because most stars who are paid tribute here are natives of Hong Kong or became famous, because they starred in Hong Kong movies. I definitely recommend a visit of this part of Kowloon, not only because of all the monuments, but also because you have a great view of Hong Kong's famous skyline. Every evening at 8 pm, there is a famous laser show called A Symphony of Lights, which you can see on the video on the left. It's also one of the must see things in Hong Kong. I recommend you to see the Avenue of Stars at day and night. And when you go at night, be there around 8. There will be tons of people and you'll hear a plenty of ohs and awwwws. It's truly magical. See some of my photos taken during the day.

The famous name.

This is the promenade. It's long, but not so wide.

Every day around 8pm it's full of people, mostly tourists.
